You can imagine the looks I got showing up in uniform with hair and makeup on point—who knew military life could be so glamorous? Oh, and I may or may not have snuck a MAC powder compact into boot camp, because I knew they'd take my ID picture at some point!. After studying at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute, I’ve bounced around hair salons and lash lounges like a beauty-loving pinball.
